We are interested in organizing a Ladyfest, as Toronto has not had one since 2004. For now, because we do not had web skillz, we will be using the blog as a forum for discussion and updates.
Events
We are interested in holding all events in a concentrated area but have yet to book venues. We are thinking around Kensington...
Events we would like organize are:
-poetry sharing/ranting/spokenword/readings
-workshops and discussions on topics and issues that are pro-feminist, pro-diversity and anti-oppression
-shows featuring the music of many genres
-short film fest
-insert your wonderful idea here.
